On July 10, 2016, Katt William was arrested by the Los Angeles Police Department for driving under the influence. He was released a day later on bail of $35,000. On September 11, 2016 Katt Williams was arrested by the Atlanta Police Department and charged with battery after he allegedly punched a teenage boy in the face after the teenager tried taking a picture with him. He was released four hours later on bail of $2,000.


 In March 2017, Katt William was arrested in Los Angeles after he was allegedly involved in a fight with a 17-year-old male. The teen claimed to have suffered face injuries during the fight and on April 18, Katt William was arrested for felony robbery. He posted $50,000 bail and was released from jail several hours later. In May 2017 he was again arrested after allegedly breaking into a house and taking items, however prosecutors declined to file charges against him as there were not sufficient grounds.


 On July 18, 2017 Katt William was involved in an altercation with employees at LAX airport. Police said that he allegedly threatened people and made racist comments before punching a staff member in their arm. He was arrested and later charged with making criminal threats, battery and resisting arrest.
