Humorous fiction is the genre of short stories, plays, television and movie scripts that are comedic and usually take place in some sort of fantastical realm or another. Examples of these genres include The Wizard of Oz by L . Frank Baum and Pushing Daisies by Bryan Fuller . The purpose of humorous fiction, like other forms of fiction, is to entertain readers through the development of characters, setting and story line.
Are you excited?
I'm so excited to be writing this blog post! I'm not an expert on Good Mythical Morning (GMM), but have been a fan for years. The concept of the show is that Rhett and Link talk about anything under the sun, and it's usually funny, interesting, and on occasion thought-provoking. They use humor as a way to teach lessons about life and relationships in ways that really hit home for me.
I'm so excited to be writing this post because I feel like it's going to be great! That's why I did a lot of research on Rhett and Link and GMM before writing. They've been working on their show for over 10 years and they're both still very active on Twitter, Facebook, Instagram etc. - as well as live streaming regularly.
I'm so excited to be writing about something that I genuinely love! Their comedy style is so quick and witty that it doesn't require a lot of research and I can pretty much write whatever comes to mind. Plus, there are tons of reviews already out there if you need more information on what their show is like.
Welcome to the show
Welcome to Good Mythical Evening! Join us as we go through the events of this week and talk about anything from science, sports, politics, education, technology and more!

And now onto tonight’s topic.
It is a topic that everyone has an opinion about. For those of you who may not know, the Supreme Court ruled today that gay marriage was legal in all 50 states. The decision was released by Justice Anthony Kennedy with one sentence: Under the Constitution, same-sex couples seek in marriage the same legal treatment as opposite-sex couples, and it would disparage their choices and diminish their personhood to deny them this right. And so ends another landmark case for America.
Let's talk about YouTube!
YouTube is the 2nd largest search engine in the world and it's often touted as being a great platform for content creators. As long as you're willing to put in the time and effort, there's no reason why anyone can't be successful on YouTube.
But how do you stand out from all of those people that are creating content? How do you keep your viewers coming back for more and convince them to subscribe to your channel?
While there's no magic formula, there are a few key strategies that you can employ in order to get your channel off to a great start.
How does it work?
It's a quarterly subscription box which costs $19.99 per quarter. You get one box every three months with curated toys and games to help your child be creative, learn new skills, and develop socially in ways they may not have otherwise. There is also an option to buy a gift for a friend that includes their first three boxes.
The items in your box will be curated by their team of educators. They’ll include things like games, puzzles, books, and more. The first item you receive is a mystery box of items designed to build on new skills your child has learned recently that they can work on while they wait for their next box. Every two months after that, they’ll ship you another box based on how old your child is.
Their recommendations are personalized to your child and their individual interests, as well. They’ll pick items that they think your child will like and be excited to play with. There is a limit of one box per household, but you can purchase one box for a friend and have them share it with you at no extra cost to either of you!
What happens after a channel hits 1 million subscribers?
When you hit 1 million subscribers, you are automatically given a Channel of the Year award. You receive an email with a link to your Channel of the Year Award. When you click it, YouTube will take you to an award ceremony hosted by YouTube Rewind and other popular YouTubers.
Congratulations, you’ve reached 1 million subscribers on your YouTube channel. What a feat! While that number may be daunting at first, it’s important to remember that everyone starts somewhere. The key is to keep moving forward and stay committed to building your community.
If your current subscriber number seems small compared to other creators in your niche, remember there is always something new coming up on YouTube. So stay on top of all new product updates and feature announcements and use that information to continue growing your viewership over time.
